Triple amputee Marine lives up to his name: Cpl. Love

DALLAS, Ga.-- Marines are tough. Todd Love would know. His father and grandfather were both Marines. No one was surprised when the family business of protecting our country spread to a third generation.

While serving in Afghanistan in 2010, Love stepped on an improvised explosive device. Because of those injuries, he lost both of his legs and his left arm. He didn't lose his boyish smile.

Love pushes himself in every way. He's been skydiving, alligator wrestling, and kayaking. It's why he was out with volunteers Friday morning putting finishing touches on his smart home. Home Depot teamed up with the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation to help break ground on a brand new, fully accessible smart home for him in 2013.

"It's actually overwhelming, there's just so many people who want to help," said Love. "I get all the attention, but the real heroes are the guys in my platoon. I would really be dead if it wasn't for them."

The keys were officially handed over to Todd on Monday.
