Man arrested for 'several years' of child molestation | Crime

DALLAS, Ga. -- A Paulding County man was arrested last week for molesting two young girls.

Investigators learned that 23-year-old Dakota James McNeil had been abusing his victims "over the course of the last several years," according to Paulding County Sheriff's spokesperson Ashley Henson.

McNeil was taken into custody on Oct. 4 for an incident of sexual abuse that took place at a house on Mona Place in Dallas on Sept. 11, Henson said.

Over the course of the investigation, police determined that McNeil began molesting one of his victims when she was only 5 years old, according to Henson.

McNeil faces several charges, including two counts of aggravated child molestation and one count of aggravated sodomy.
