'Country Royalty' coming to Dallas | Arts & Culture
DALLAS, Ga. -- A tribute show to two of country music's biggest legends will come to the Dallas Theater Civic Center later this month.
Jason Petty and Carolyn Martin will become Hank Williams and Patsy Cline, respectively, in Country Royalty.
The show will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19. Tickets range in price from $18 to $25 and can be purchased at seatadvisor.com.
Petty has been playing Hank Williams since starring in Hank Williams: Lost Highway at New York's Little Shubert Theater. He won an Obie Award for his portrayal.
Martin, a Nashville-based swing singer, has earned two Grammy nominations for her work with the Time Jumpers. She will perform some of Patsy Cline's biggest hits during the Jan. 19 show.
